CANDLE CARE

HOW TO LOVE YOUR CANDLE:

1. ALWAYS BURN YOUR BRAND NEW CANDLE FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR.

This 1hr first burn ensures the melt pool will reach all edges of your candle jar. If you blow OUT your candle before it has a chance to reach the jars edge, it may “tunnel”. When tunneling occurs, your candle will burn straight down the middle of your jar instead of to the edges. Unfortunately this means your candle won’t last as long. Sad Face :(

2. NEVER BURN YOUR CANDLE MORE THAN 4 HOURS.

If you burn your candle more than four hours, you may notice a “smokey” smell. This happens when the fragrance oil is burning off too quickly and the jar, wax and wicks are overheating.

3. Always trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before re-lighting your candle.

Untrimmed wicks can cause build up that will drop into your melted wax making it look “dirty”. Additionally, your wicks will get clogged and your candle will not perform well or last as long.
